Promenade Park is a 32-acre park located in downtown Fort Wayne, along the St. Marys River. The park is a popular destination in Fort Wayne for locals and tourists. It contains a modern unique playground which is almost guaranteed to keep kids entertained.
The park also has a boathouse with kayak, canoe, and paddle boat rentals. There are food and drink options offered at the park. Throughout the year, the park also hosts a variety of events, concerts, and festivals.
Shoaff Park is located on north east side of Fort Wayne. The 134 acre park sits along the the St Joseph River and includes an impressive amount of amenities.
The park includes a scenic walking/biking trail that loops around the whole park, a golf range, a golf course, and a disc golf course. The St Joseph Pathway trail also begins at Shoaff Park and goes south into Fort Wayne.
Foster Park is a 255 acre park located in southern Fort Wayne. The popular park is connected to the River greenway trail system via St. Mary's Pathway. The Foster Park Golf Course is connected to the park and there are great amenities included in the park such as volleyball courts, tennis courts, and walking trails.
Franke Park is a 329 acre park located alongside the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo. The size of the park and it's proximity to the zoo make it a great destination for families and children.
There are plenty of open fields and shelters that are great for picnics in the summer time. Some other unique amenities included in the park are a bmx track, a single track mountain bike trail, and an outdoor theater.
Lakeside Park is a roughly 25 acre park located on the near east side of downtown Fort Wayne, near the Maumee Pathway. The park is filled with many beautiful features like a sunken garden, walking trails, and a variety of beautiful trees and flowers. The popular community park also includes amenities like basketball courts, tennis courts, and pickleball courts
McMillen Park is a 107 acre park located in south west Fort Wayne. The park has great walking trails and plenty of amenities like large open fields, football fields, baseball fields, a swimming pool, and plenty of basketball courts. The McMillen Golf Course is also connected to the park.
Tillman Park is a 70 acre park located in southern Fort Wayne. The park is connected to the River greenway trail system via St. Mary's Pathway. There are also plenty of amenities included in the park such as disc golf, tennis courts, a baseball field, soccer field, and walking trails.
Memorial Park is a 42 acre park located on the near east side of downtown Fort Wayne. The park is a tribute to the men and women of Fort Wayne and Allen County who gave their lives in service of their country during World War I. There are a good number of beautiful matures trees, sculptures, and memorials all over the park. There is also a great pedestrian trail that circles the park.
Lawton Park is a 40 acre park located in downtown Fort Wayne. The city park is connected to some amazing trails such as St Joseph Pathway and Maumee Pathway. The Science Central Museum is also located next to the park. The park has a great playground and a few baseball fields. It is also a great place to park during the popular Three Rivers Festival during the summer time.
